Happy Labor Day weekend! Shut down the PC and go out and play. Quick post before I do just that - De Novo Dahl just released a new EP - Shout! (buy it here), and announced a new fall tour.
Here's the dates - and their extremely fun show from Hot Freaks! during SXSW.
Speaking of Hot Freaks! - they just announced another 2 day event (read about it all over the web, including here and here) that coincides with another large festival in Austin in the middle of September. Can't wait to see it!

Ok, please ignore my blogger account as I haven't used it in ages, but I had to post a comment. I can't, for some reason, view your profile, but you must live in Texas, which I was beginning to think was a vast wasteland, but now I'm thinking maybe I might find some tolerable people/shows, given your blog. First: yay, you love great music. Second: if you take those pictures, you are wonderful. Can I steal the one of Of Montreal's lead singer for my myspace page? I promise everything I do is tasteful :) Are you in Houston? Dallas? I'm in Dallas. So, fyi (though I'm sure you already know) Rilo Kiley in early October, Hot Hot Heat in late October I think, and Of Montreal in November. Well, take care, and happy concert-ing :)
Thanks! I record all the music - but atypically I use photos I find around the interweb. Thats not always true as I do have a little trusty canon elph.
