Clearly, Of Montreal needs no introduction so let me make a few comments on the recording. I love it. The stereo mixing is gorgeous - especially the way the guitars play off of one another. The band was in top form last night at the Gypsy Tea Room - with 900 Dallas kids losing themselves to the glittering goodness of Kevin Barnes and company.
All in all, it makes me sad that Gypsy is closing down at the end of March. Thank goodness I have tickets to another half a dozen shows there...
