Taped some great shows over the last week - Page France, Margot and the Nuclear So Sos and Whispertown2000. (UPDATE - How could I forget Tilly and the Wall, Pony Up and Mo Pair? Shame.) I look forward to getting these up shortly - but I thought we might step back in time a few months and wrap up posting the South by Southwest shows I attended back in March.
We have KT Tunstall, Camera Obscura and Rocky Votolato coming up.
First though Andrew Kenny (of American Analog Set) who put on the most intimate show I saw at SXSW this year. Playing solo, with only a clean electric guitar, Andrew delivered a quiet and almost bleak set of songs - pulled from AmAnSet's decade-long discography, his solo ep with Ben Gibbard - and even one new track (which Andrew graciously supplied the title for, Anna Paula, when I requested it over on the AmAnSet News board.
