Happy weekend everybody! I love Saturdays. Best day of the week, always has been - always will be. You get to sleep in, wake up next to the one you like/love/detest - but either which way, you don't have to get up and go anywhere. Cuddle on, kids!
So I'm pretty pumped today. Going to wander the world - put the iPod on random, drink a little Starbucks coffee, read a hundred pages of The Witching Hour by Anne Rice, go to the local art supply store and buy paint and a canvas or two, hang some completed paintings. Just a typical Saturday afternoon.
But tonight! Tonight the Season 2 finale of Doctor Who airs - (read about Who here). Sweet Fanboy Moments Galore!
But, all of that is to come - right now we're serving up another set from the Tilly and the Wall show that was posted last week. David Dondero was one of the Tilly opening sets - and performed a set that in many ways was the dynamic opposite of Tillys. Acoustic, and with a slightly urban-cowboy quality, Dondero's set was a more subdued moment in time before the Tilly antics took over for the evening.
Check out Rothko Chapel - it's named for a local church designed by the famed artist, and Pre-Invasion Gitters, Dondero's nod to the current world state.

Any chance of that Most Serene Republic show?
Interesting, the obelisk at my school looks exactly like that one...
And yay to Dondero!
